Kazaziye Silver is a local handicraft from Trabzon region. Our hardworking women masters, whose numbers are increasing day by day, continue to work to keep the art of Kazaziye alive.Kazaziye is obtained by wrapping silver wire with a fineness of 0.08 microns on silk. These thin wires are wrapped with pure silver. Since it is 1000 carat pure silver wire, it has a soft texture. Then these wires are thickened by wrapping them in 2-3-4-5-6.... layers. For example, a kazaziye wire wrapped in 3 layers is used to make chain, sworn sliders and other intermediate materials. All parts are knitted as handicraft. After the women of our region knit the piece they are specialized in in their free time at home, the process of combining it with other complementary products in the workshop, that is; the process of turning it into a product is done. Earrings, necklaces, rosaries, rings, bracelets and sets can be made with Kazaziye Silver.
